According to the Articles of Association of Thai Institute of Directors (IOD), Article 31 specified that the Board of Directors must hold an annual general meeting within May of each year. Given the Corona virus 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in Thailand and the government’s recent decision to activate the state of emergency, IOD is deeply concerned for the safety and wellbeing of everyone. Therefore, to protect all members and related parties from the exposure and to avoid the spread of COVID-19, the Board of Directors, at its Meeting No. 2/2020 held on May 11, 2020, passed the resolution to approve the holding of the AGM in any month after May 2020. When the situation is resolved or back to normal, the Board of Directors will consider the dates and agenda of the 2020 annual general meeting which will be further notified to the members.
