Thai Institute of Directors Association (Thai IOD) is pleased to announce the official appointment of Dr. Nattavut Kulnides as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 December 2026. 

With extensive experience in leadership development, organizational transformation, and strategy, His appointment marks an important step in Thai IOD’s continued journey to strengthen board leadership and support directors in navigating an increasingly complex and rapidly changing business environment.  

Dr. Nattavut Kulnides is a respected leadership expert, executive coach, and organizational development consultant with extensive experience in helping organizations strengthen leadership capabilities and build high-performing teams across the Asia-Pacific region. 

He began his career as an engineer before pursuing his passion for leadership and people development. Driven by a belief that effective leadership is fundamental to organizational success, he later earned a Doctorate Degree from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and has since dedicated his career to developing leaders and supporting organizations through transformation and sustainable growth. 

Over the years, Dr. Nattavut has worked closely with senior executives, leadership teams, and boards across a wide range of industries. His expertise includes purpose-driven leadership, executive coaching, organizational development, leadership transformation, and the application of mindfulness in leadership to foster resilient and future-ready organizations. 

At Thai IOD, Dr. Nattavut serves as the Head of the Community of Practice for Business Transformation and Strategy. In this role, he works closely with Thai IOD to identify emerging business and governance issues, shape thought leadership, and curate strategic topics that help directors stay ahead of evolving business challenges and opportunities. He also serves as a facilitator for Thai IOD', leading sessions on Strategy and Purpose-Driven Transformation to equip boards with the mindset and capabilities needed to drive sustainable organizational transformation.
