The Internal Revenue Department (IRS) of the Ministry of Finance announced, in the National Gazette on April 28, 2015, the Royal Decree no.587 pho.sor.2558, measures on income tax incentives and exemptions for international trade centers.
Policy Alert
The Draft Inheritance Taxation Act was approved by both the upper and lower house of Parliament in May 2015. Under the law, inherited assets are to be subject to an inheritance tax, including securities in a limited company and in a listed company.
