Thailand is recognized around the ASEAN region and beyond for its burgeoning social enterprises but more has to be done to make the sector contribute even more to social and economic development in Thailand. Our panel of experienced speakers will discuss what should IOD members and all corporate directors know to help further develop social enterprises at the grassroots level and thereby help fulfil their companies social responsibilities. The discussion will draw on practical examples in Thailand’s northern region and also review the growth of the Social Enterprise sector in the United Kingdom to get a broad view of the sector.
