SEC activities relating to CG Code adoption in information disclosure form
 
After the Corporate Governance Code or CG Code was announced in March 2017, a series of seminar on the topic have been organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission for listed companies, discussions with representatives from MAI and Thai Company Secretary Club and financial advisors have been done. In his annual letter to public company CEOs, BlackRock Inc. Chairman and CEO Laurence "Larry" Fink said they "must contribute to society" or risk losing BlackRock's support, states Inc.com (Jan. 16, Canal). New York-based BlackRock ranks as the world's largest money manager and biggest investor in public companies.
